Chainsaw Man kicked off the final arc of its anime’s debut season with the latest episode, and the series really showcased what Aki can do in a really big fight! As the anime prepares to complete the final episode list for the Fall 2022 anime schedule, Denji and the rest of the Special Division 4 members are in a recovery period after escaping the Eternity Devil’s trap. But in doing so they returned to a whole new kind of problem as the new group launched their first attack.

The latest episode of the series officially kicks off the final arc of the first season of Chainsaw Man and Aki and the others find themselves in a surprise attack by someone with the same power as Denji. This new fighter was able to transform into a Devil Katana much like Denji did with his chainsaws, and this pushed Aki to the point where he needed to unleash some of his own abilities in battle as well.

How to watch Aki’s latest fight in Chainsaw Man

Episode 8 of Chainsaw Man sees Aki fighting this new enemy of the Devil Katana, revealing that the sword on his back is actually more of a sharp nail that he uses to attack certain points on Katana Man’s body. He can quickly land each of these attacks, and each one brings Katan Man closer to the “curse” that will be unleashed on the enemy, trapping them in a new death trap. Unfortunately, the fight did not end there.

It turns out that Katana Man had help from another powerful devil contract holder and Katana himself was holding back in his fight against Aki. Now it’s just a matter of watching each of the new episodes (which you can now do with Crunchyroll) to see if Aki can recover from such a big fight.
