As the chainsaw devil tests his strength against Katana Man, Denji and Aki end up in a fun “competition” that is one of the funniest moments of the bloody Shonen adaptation. If Chainsaw Man returns for a second season, this will be the time to get down in the comedy department.

Denji’s fight against the Devil Katana was one for the history books, as the Chainsaw Man found himself fighting inside and outside of a subway car, losing a number of limbs trying to stop the biggest baddie of the first season. Using the new strength at his disposal, Denji kicks the chainsaw blade out of one of his legs, slicing Katana Man right in the middle. Just as the chainsaw devil was able to recover from horrific injuries, his opponent could do the same, though this unique contest that Denji and Aki have started is one he may not want to experience.

Denji, standing over the defeated Katana Man, proposes a hilarious contest in which both Devil Hunters shoot repeatedly to kick the villain in the crotch, with the one who makes the devil scream the loudest being declared the winner. While Aki is usually the most stoic of his companions working for Maki, this was a well-deserved opportunity since Katana Man was partially responsible for Himeno’s death earlier in the season.

When we last see Aki, Denji, and Power, they seem to have truly united after the hardships of the first season, although when the Chainsaw Man returns, the Devil Hunters will have a mix of bloody and hilarious battles. forward.

Currently, MAPPA is tight-lipped about the possibility of Denji’s return, though the popularity of the series, along with MAPPA’s previous commitment to translate all of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s works, Chainsaw Man Season 2 could already be in the works.
