Chainsaw Man vs. Katana Man’s battle ended in spectacularly bloody fashion, with the series not hitting and killing quite a few devil hunters. Aki entered the game of devil hunting knowing that the dangerous profession meant his time on this Earth was short, before the various deals he made with devils greatly shortened his lifespan. Using his supernatural sword while trying to take down Katana Man, Aki wakes up in his hospital bed and is told by the devil that he only has two years left to live due to the deal they made. In addition to this horrible reality, Aki is barely able to hold himself together when he realizes that Himeno has left this mortal coil and hit another friend in his life.
