It goes without saying that Chainsaw Man is an unstoppable force. Since its debut, the Chainsaw Man manga under creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has sold well, and its latest numbers have skyrocketed thanks to the anime. When Chainsaw Man returned to print a second volume, Fujimoto drew more eyes to his series than ever before. And now, the big devil takes over the cover of the next volume of the Chainsaw Man manga.
As you can see below, the artwork for Chainsaw Man Volume 14 is lively and features a very familiar face. The beautiful colorful piece focuses on the Famine Devil after their debut in the manga. Obviously, the arrival of another rider was a big deal for readers of the Chainsaw Man manga last year, and now Famine is celebrating the honor.
After all, the drawing shows the Famine in their usual school uniform, posing in front of a stained glass mural. The background gives the Famine an otherworldly feel due to its religious undertones, and it fits with what we know about this devil. After all, Famine is one of the four riders alongside Control Devil and War Devi. At this point, the only Rider we haven’t met is Death Devil, but we’re sure the threat will be the endgame for Chainsaw Man.
So far, the Chainsaw Man manga is paying homage to its latest Rider, and Famine Devil definitely deserves some love. So far, we know little about the character who is Fami’s favorite. Appearing as a student at Four East High School and appearing as a member of the Devil Hunter Club, Fami made herself known to Yoru/Asa in record time. Until now, the Famine’s motivations have been kept under wraps, but little good can come of the Horseman’s ambitions.
Of course, the Chainsaw Man manga will share more about the Famine and the Horsemen in the second volume. Right now, Asa is dealing with a massive problem, and we have the Primal Fear to thank. The Falling Devil came to Earth from Hell in the latest manga update. And now Yoru has to take a back seat while Asa fights against the devil’s influence.
