Summary:

Makima gets dressed and leads Denji out into the hallway. There, a number of demons, many of whom are Denji’s deceased allies, kneel before them. Makima explains that they were all followers of the chainsaw devil who put their lives on the line to protect him, waiting for ‘Resurrection Day’.As he says this, the building is breached by a group of devil hunters, named the ‘Anti-Makima Squad’, led by Kishibe from a distant location. Makima is shot as a number of devil hunters cut their own throats to summon the Hell Devil, who they ask to kill Makima and banish her to Hell. He asked the chainsaw man to save her, Denji’s intestines flew out of his chest and strangled him.As the Hunters slowly die outside the building, the Hell Devil emerges, now in a flaming centaur-like form. Standing atop the corpses of the Anti-Makima Squad, Denji pulls a cord and transforms into a chainsaw fiend. In an instant, he leaps out and chops the Hell Devil into many clean pieces. He stands tall, in a darker, more muscular form, with many arms and blades, as blood and organs rain down around him.
