Summary:

Members of Quanxi’s harem wait outside and destroy the remaining dolls. They are suddenly approached by Kishibe, Kobeni and Violence Fiend. Pingtsi uses her powers to discover that Kishibe has contracts with the Needle, Claw, and Knife Devils before judging him as harmless due to his lack of body parts that he has not yet made contracts with. Kishibe slowly approaches them as they prepare to fight.Inside the building, the group (minus the unconscious Angel Devil and Aki) react to Quanxi’s attack. He kicks Denji into the air in a flash before taking out Kusakabe and Tamaoki. He moves towards Yoshida and summons the Devil Octopus to absorb the brunt of the attack before spraying the rest of the room with a mist of ink in an attempt to surprise her. Quanxi notices Yoshida moving behind her and knocks him unconscious, defeating him. However, before she could kill him, Kishibe enters, taking Long and Pingtsi hostage.Kishibe orders Denji and Power to hold the hostages as Power reveals that she was playing dead. Kishibe and Quanxi, revealed to be former acquaintances, sit down and discuss the situation. Kishibe begins to discuss retirement and old age, but as he speaks, he holds up the notes in his notebook to show that Makima is listening. Through his notebook, he promises to give Quanxi freedom in exchange for his help in killing Makima. Quanxi declines, explaining (via a seemingly unrelated anecdote) that he prefers not to be confused, stating that “ignorance is bliss”.As he says this, Aldo enters and shoots Denji. Kishibe kicks Denji, missing the attack, but Long is able to take advantage of the opportunity to grab him and break free. Quanxi and Kishibe move across the neck in a flash.
