Summary:

At the park, Denji and Power are eating snacks and bird watching, debating whether or not it’s okay to eat ducks that are still alive. Denji accidentally drops his food, but when he goes to pick it up and eat it, the demon hunter Kusakabe stops him and reprimands him. Kusakabe warns him about bacteria and food poisoning, but Denji grows increasingly frustrated. Aki, Angel Devil, Yoshida, and Tamaoki all agree that eating the food would be foolish, however Denji quickly swallows it anyway.In a flashback, the whole group introduces themselves. Makima explains to Denji that he and the other three agents will be his personal security. Kusakabe attempts to assert his authority to Denji, but is met with sarcasm and a yawn. Elsewhere, Hunters Michiko, Yutaro and Subaru take a smoke break. When asked why they can’t simply hide Denji in his human form, Subaru explains that the other devils can sense him. As they drive towards the main group, Subaru asks about Maki. Tendo hesitates and says they want to discuss something about her. Before they can, a set of road spikes is thrown in front of the vehicle. The car swerves and hits a tree. In the wreckage, Subaru wakes up just in time to see the three American brothers outside the car, shooting the three Hunters. The older two brothers joke, but Aldo reacts with horror at the killing.Aldo hides the bodies and vomits. Sato asks Joey about his feelings about the killing, with Joey stating that the only response is mild annoyance and disgust. Sato chuckles before changing his face to match Kurose’s. The three then discuss Kurosu’s voice as Sato changes his tone and accent to match.
