Summary:

A conflicted Denji questions why Reze wants to run away with him. She replies that she “likes” him. Although Denji admits to being tempted, he explains that he is becoming more and more satisfied with his current situation: his rising status in the office, as well as his better relations with Aki and Power. He admits that these are not things he wants to give up so quickly. He asks if he can still see her despite this, but she asks if he has someone else he likes before kissing him deeply. After a moment, Denji falls back and it is revealed that Reze bit his tongue.Reze then slits Denji’s throat and he moves to try to pull the line, but she quickly cuts off his hand before he can. Reze knelt down close, stabbing him in the back and holding him gently. Reze kisses him again before apologizing and calmly telling him that she intends to take his heart. However, before she could move, Beam bursts out of the floor and grabs Denji, fleeing down the hill with him. As she runs, Beam scolds herself for not recognizing her scent: The smell of a bomb.As she says this, Reze pulls a pin from her collar and her head and right arm explode. They quickly reform and reveal her transformed state: Bomb Devil-Hybrid. Reze called Beam a “thief” and used a powerful blast to charge at the pair, crashing in front of them in an instant.
