Summary:

Himeno wakes Denji up again and informs him that they are still stuck. While Aki continued to hunt the devil, Arai became restless and locked himself in, while Kobeni was violently knocked down after trying to drink from the toilet. Himeno assumes that the Force is unhinged anyway, but Denji reveals that he always acts bizarre.While the trio wait for Aki to return, Himeno explains that she thanked Aki for the cigarettes. In a flashback, a younger Aki and Himeno discuss cigarettes, and Himeno reveals that the short life expectancy of devil hunters means they can afford to indulge.As the pair walk out, Himeno is approached by a woman who suddenly slaps her. After the woman leaves, Himeno explains that she was her ex-partner’s friend. He reveals that such abuse expects grieving families to vent their frustrations. In retaliation, Aki sticks a piece of gum in the girl’s hair, making Himeno laugh. At a nearby restaurant, Himeno asks Aki to start smoking as a symbol of their relations.In the present, Aki returns and reveals that he has discovered the Eternal Devil. However, rather than the small and human-like shape it had taken before, it had multiplied into a large and imposing wall of flesh. Eternity Devil taunts the group before offering them a contract; he promised to release them in exchange for allowing him to eat Denji. Suddenly, Kobeni appears with a knife and demands that they accept the contract.
