Summary:

Asa and Yoru visit a partially destroyed school. They witness the remains of Ace’s uniform sword. Asa asks Yoru if he knows the woman who revived Yuko, but Yoru says no and passes it off as crazy. The girl is then encountered by members of the Student Council/Devil Hunters Club. Haruka Iseumi, the president of the club, introduces herself to Asa. She tells Asa that she is accepted into the club. Yoru takes over and asks Haruka if she knows Chainsaw Man’s identity. Haruka reveals a zip line sticking out of his chest; Believing himself to be a chainsaw, Yoru leaves. Asa is skeptical that he is actually Chainsaw Man, while Yoru acknowledges that she is too weak to fight Chainsaw Man.Yoru asks Asa to create a weapon that is even stronger than her uniform sword. Asa says that she is now willing to turn a human into a weapon if it means that Yoru will leave her body so she doesn’t destroy other people’s lives due to Yoru’s presence. Asa wants to turn the criminal into a weapon, but Yoru says it wouldn’t be powerful because Asa wouldn’t feel any guilt if he used the criminal. Yoru suggests that the most powerful weapon would be the line between killing a cat and killing a criminal.Asa notices Denji picking up used cigarette butts from the ground. She thinks she misjudged Denji in their earlier interaction when she spied him passing off used cigarettes and selling them to the homeless. Asa realizes that Denji is right in the middle between a criminal and a cat, not bad enough to deserve to die, but he would be willing enough to turn him into a weapon. Yoru convinces Asa that killing Denji would be a necessary evil to defeat the chainsaw man. Asa confronts Denji, but Denji is aggressive towards her because of how she treated him earlier. Asa asks Denji out and he reluctantly says yes.
