Summary:

The next day, Yuko and Asa go into town to hunt devils and discuss them. They reveal to each other that both of their parents were killed by devils, which excites Yuko and makes her think that the two are like the devil hunting avengers in the manga series. Yuko leaves for a moment, and in her absence, War Devil tells Asa that she should kill her new friend. The more she is attached to someone she kills and turns into a weapon, the more powerful the weapon becomes.Asa refuses and tries to change the subject to War Devil, who always calls her “girl”. She insists that the War Devil call her by her proper name, so the War Devil makes her call her “Yoru” in return. Yoru decides to leave the subject for now, as the closer Yuko gets, the stronger she becomes.Yuko returns and the two wander around town trying to find the devil when they suddenly come across a large grotesque attacking people in a building. While attacking the people, the politician in the street barks about how the devils are at war with the people.Asa sees a devil in front of her, but Yoru warns her not to approach. She is unable to face the devil at this point and the other bad news is that Yoru is unable to take over Asa’s body when she is struck by fear. After noticing this, Yoru warns Asa to go away slowly and calm down, but Asa and Yuko desperately run away.
