Summary:

Denji begins to fight the Leech Devil but is easily defeated by him, causing the Leech Devil to question if the Bat Devil was really defeated by such a weak human. The Leech Devil says that the Bat Devil and she had a dream to eat all the people together and admits that it is an impossible but noble and beautiful dream.The thought that Denji killed the Bat Devil further angers the Leech Devil, who again says that he will kill Denji. He replies that he won’t die before the cops come. To which the Leech Devil replies that it’s a silly dream. This causes Denji to become angry and attack. He challenges the Devil Leech to a Dream Battle, meaning that the person who wins their fight has a better dream. The Devil Leech accepts this challenge and they both attack. Denji manages to stab the devil leech with his chainsaw, but gets stabbed in the stomach.At this point, Denji is about to be eaten, but Aki Hayakawa arrives in time and summons his Fox Devil, which bites the Leech Devil and eats him. The newbies on the team are then ordered to help and evacuate the survivors, while Himeno, Aki’s senior, is tasked with keeping an eye on the devils. Denji and Power are taken for medical treatment and debriefing, while Meowy is taken to the veterinary hospital for a check-up.
